By: Peggy Sue Wood | @pswediting While preparing a panel on free-to-low-cost sources of anime and manga for Anime Town Greenville, I came across a new series called Magus of the Library. I actually read the first chapter back in my review of the Kodansha Samplers, and so, with the reminder from revisiting those samplers in my panel, I decided to officially pick up the … Continue reading [Recommended Read] Magus of The Library
This review is a bit of a mixed bag because I spent the weekend (31 Jan.–2 Feb. 2025) wavering between feeling sick and being mostly okay, which definitely influenced my overall experience. First, let me start with some context: I have a rule about not attending events when I’m sick, but since I was well enough to work and thought I was mostly over it … Continue reading [Review] Anime Town Greenville
By: Peggy Sue Wood | @pswediting If you’re still watching Detective Conan, chances are you’re a fan shipping Wataru Takagi and Miwako Satou together, two detectives of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Recently, Krow and I have been binging some older episodes of the show and when watching Episode 487, I became convinced that these two are engaged. Now, according to the internet, they aren’t … Continue reading [Chatting] Detective Conan: Takagi and Satou Are Engaged. A Case Closed, If You Ask Me
From Dec 20–Dec 31, 2024, you can earn 3,000 Tappytoon Points (a $3.99 USD value) when you shop Club JEM merch. By: Peggy Sue Wood July 2023 was a difficult time for me. Originally, this was supposed to go up soon after the AX convention, but I missed the opportunity to do so at the time. I was focused more on enjoying the convention itself since two of my friends joined me and I was dealing with personal things at home, but here is, essentially, my … Continue reading [Things Missed] Anime Expo 2023: Attendee & Presenter Experience

By: Peggy Sue Wood | @pswediting July 2023 was a somewhat difficult time for me. Originally, this was supposed to go up soon after the AX convention, but I missed the opportunity to do so at the time. I decided not to attend industry/business panels during AX 2023. Industry panels are typically reviews for release schedules of anime, manga, merchandise, and the like. While this … Continue reading [Things Missed] Anime Expo 2023 – Business Panels Post!
It is the start of the Winter 2024 season, and, as mentioned, this month, we’re doing things missed before we take off on posting until about April. That means that TAV is missing basically all of the Winter season. Before “leaving,” I wanted to make a few quick recommendations for those watching things this season. In upcoming/ongoing works to consider watching this season, I (Peggy … Continue reading Anime To Look Forward To – Winter 2024
By: Peggy Sue Wood Kumoricon 2023 – DraftBy: Peggy Sue Wood TL/DR This is a small-scale event with lots of people. You could purchase a ticket for one day and tour the exhibit hall in a few hours with more than enough time for panels. This convention is good for first-time convention goers, particularly if you are not great with being in large crowds and … Continue reading [Review] Kumoricon 2023: Attendee & Presenter Experience (+Panel Links)
