MANGA MIRAI is a digital manga reading app and website that appears to have launched on March 4, 2025, based on my Google search and their press release.
As a newer platform, the expectations are a little low for what they may offer but I think that the catalog is surprisingly robust for a launch that’s only a few months old. It includes major titles like One Piece, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Black Butler, Fire Force, and Demon Slayer. When browsing the site myself, what stood out was how many of the featured titles have anime adaptations—which they advertise openly across the front page of the website. I would agree with this marketing strategy since these titles are sure to be a major draw for fans wanting to read what happens next when the story on screen ends.
The platform also promotes access to “previously untranslated titles and other original works,” suggesting they’re actively collaborating with publishers and producing unique content. Since they are partners with MyAnimeList Co., the Akatsuki Group, and MEDIA DO Co., and since they began distributing select VIZ Media titles as of June then the platform seem like it could grow a lot in the next year or two.
Functionally, the app operates similarly to eBookRenta or Kodansha’s digital platforms, offering a mix of free chapters and others available at market price and this year MANGA MIRAI is making its U.S. convention debut at Anime Expo 2025. You can see more at mangamirai.com and follow @MANGAMIRAI_EN on X (formerly Twitter) for updates if interested.
