Pet, episode 1:

First reaction – 22 minutes of what?

Review: This is probably going to be one of those anime’s that messes with your head a bit–that’s the feeling I got while watching episode 1 and that feeling of “what?” just continued the whole way through. I usually don’t like these types of stories but episode one left me feeling hopeful, probably because it’s got a murder-mystery vibe going. Animation wise… it got some awkward CGI going on, like in the screenshot above with the butterfly. I picked the particular picture above because this is the first five minutes, but this is not the majority of the episode. Since I’m still going “what?” I’m not going to say that this episode was good or bad–just that I plan to continue watching for now.
